Day 241 | Video | Action--Open Mingle
[There is a very tall, pale, blonde man on the screen. He's wearing dark clothes and his blonde hair is slicked back. He gives the camera a charming smile. ]

I understand we're to be inundated with visitors today. I also understand that a sudden arrival here can be a disconcerting and that often requires a drink. I invite everyone to come have a drink at the Blood Shack in sector four. We've got a wide variety of drinks, both ordinary and unusual.

Come spend your day with us at the Blood Shack. We'd be delighted to have you.

[ The video clicks off.

Those that decide to take Eric up on his invitation, will find the Blood Shack up and running. During the day, a few bots can be found doing some of the mundane things like delivering drinks to tables, but during the evening Eric will be behind the bar and the presence of bots is reduced. The bar itself is dimly lit with small tables and booths places about. There's a dance floor and a stage with a pole at one end. The other end of the stage is occupied by what can only be called a throne, which Eric occupies when Spike is behind the bar. There is also a jukebox that customers can play. ]

	[ Eric can be found behind the bar, or perhaps sitting on the throne on stage, watching over everyone in the bar. He appears to be in a good mood, casual and natural. He enjoys visitors day and is even hoping for a visit from a few people back home. ] (Reply to this) (Thread)

[Saetan has finally decided to investigate this Blood Shack that he's heard so much about since his arrival here. He waits until evening out of long habit before setting out to find it, leaning ever so slightly on the elegant cane that goes impeccably with his faintly old fashioned looking suit.

Its not exactly his type of place, a single glance makes that obvious. A bit too gaudy with the pole and all the loud music, not to mention the throne which he finds an utterly ridiculous spectacle. He's far too well mannered to give any indication of those feelings though, and manages to keep his opinions to himself. He does manage a polite smile once he locates the bar, giving no indication of how utterly out of his element he is. Places like this always make him feel old.]

And just how is all this supposed to work, young man, if you don't mind me asking?

[ Eric takes notice of the man when he walks in because it doesn't look like his sort of place and the guy doesn't really fit into the twenty-first century. He nods in greeting then chuckles when he gets called a young man because he hasn't been young in several centuries, but he'll go along with it for now. ]

Like it does in any bar, minus the cash exchanging hands. Or did you need a drink menu?

	[Everyone is young in Saetan's eyes. It has been a long time since he's been in any sort of bar though. He avoids the stools, even with his sore leg. 	[ Okay, that gets an eyebrow raise out of Eric. He's seen a lot, but never a six foot tall mouse that walked upright and talked. ] Root beer. [And drank root beer.] I think I can manage that. [And he does, reaching down in the cooler to pull out a bottle of root beer. He pops the cap on it and pulls a cold mug out. Both go on the bar in front of the mouse.
