day 231 - video/action
[the video opens onto a close-up of a plush Smuppet rump, bright purple and irresistibly squeezable. A moment later, it's knocked out of the way with a saucy squeak, and the view swings upwards, revealing two beings that definitely are not erotic plush creations.]

[the woman is the easiest to describe, so we'll start there. She's very tall, and dressed in a flowing, pale pink outfit trimmed with gold, with a white sash over one shoulder. She has one hand buried in her long hair as she absorbs her surroundings, and looks rather in shock—a natural reaction for someone who's just been teleported into the middle of a porn shop unannounced. Her companion, which looks almost like It's sprouting up from behind her shoulders, is a sort of large, white, gently luminous creature, with both sides of Its long body covered in wide, blue eyes. Its forelimbs are stubby, and Its snout has no features to speak of. It looks underformed and very soft. It also appears to be wearing an orange jumpsuit, specially tailored for its unusual anatomy. As the woman studies the communicator, It reaches down to retrieve the Smuppet from the floor.]

What is this, Pheia? Where are we?

[the creature's voice is quite high, almost childlike. Pheia's voice, when she answers, is much lower, with a distinctly upper-class intonation, and the absent tone of someone definitely in shock:]

I haven't the faintest idea. —Please put that down, sweets.

[the creature responds by pushing the Smuppet into Its mouth. Pheia, busy looking the other way with wide, cautious eyes, doesn't seem to notice.]

[Pheia yelps, startled, and whirls to look at the communicator. Faith pauses and does the same, the Smuppet halfway in Its face. Pheia reaches down, then hesitates, then picks up the device, almost as if she's afraid it might burn her. She clears her throat.]

Er—hello? Can you hear me...? Who are you? Where are you?

[she flips the communicator over, then back, completely befuddled. What is technology. The creature pipes up, talking clearly even with a full mouth:]

Does the box have small people inside of it?

	[Uhm. Wow give him a minute that creature is fascinating. Luckily he's got his wits about him and is used to strange alien species it doesn't take much to snap out of his curious stare. [someone's taught her about communicators by now, so Pheia isn't so shocked when Helix calls. She still jumps a little, but it's definitely progress. At Helix's words, she blinks, then gives a puff of incredulous laughter and turns to look at Faith.]

Dear, please.

[the baby god seems to give this some thought, before it pulls the Smuppet out of Its mouth. Its attention is now completely fixed on Helix, and It puts Its nose very close to the communicator and asks,]

What's wrong with you?
