Jess. [ there are no words for how happy elena is to her. elena feels the urge to reach out and embrace her - if they were in person, she would.
she's both happy and sad to see her back. happy because if she was really stuck in the stabilizer... because she's been a friend.
as for the question. elena sobers after hearing it, thinks of jeremy and taking his memories away. of sending him away. whether he wanted or not, it couldn't matter. he had to be safe. (but it's never been about forgetting her; maybe elena sometimes thinks it should be. that it could be easier.) ] I guess it would depend why they wanted to forget. If it'd be safer, or just...
