[It's dark, but it hardly makes a difference to a vampire. Only that the amount of traffic is significantly reduced. Which is fine. It's her turn to patrol sector zero, but she isn't alone today.

Sitting against a tree, she hums quietly, before singing a few lyrics to the song she'll have to perform, some time soon, in front of the dome. Not that she's looking forward to it, but she'll be glad when it's over. Nevertheless, it's easy enough to practice when everyone's asleep. Idly her hands stroke a small, orange, furry body nestled within her lap.]

Gathering stars, into my arms
I build up a fragile castle of sand
And utter a tiny pray for all the ones I love

[She returns back to humming, and stretching wide, yawns. She needs to do something to stay awake. Nails brush against the device, and after a moment it flickers on. The light of the screen is dim, but in the screen a couple blue and purple butterflies flutter around her. She pays them little attention, though. Instead, she lifts a small vampire bunny up, and forces one of his little legs to wave to the screen.]

Busa-kun is bored, so we were wondering if anyone's still up. Everyone who hasn't met him yet, for whatever the reason, say hi to Busa.

	Just call it talent. [A wink. Though after a moment a couple more butterflies appear. They circle around a few times before she lifts a hand out. One lands lightly upon a finger tip... ] Or... that I have a dozen or so sets of eyes already keeping tabs. 	They don't have to be butterflies, but for some reason I just sort of picked them. [It was her natural instinct. The butterfly upon her finger disintegrates, melding into her before disappearing completely.] It's just an ability I have. But it comes in handy for patrol. They're part of me.

[Haha... she feels a little embarrassed. It's kind of weird to explain.]

I can create doppelgangers, or take on a different form. It's harder to do here, though. [If she does anything too extensive, she grows tired, whereas at home that has never been a problem.]

The butterflies are just an extension of myself that I create. I can see through their eyes and know what is going on.

There's a number of things...

[She doesn't want to sound like she's bragging, though, since honestly, she doesn't normally do... much with her abilities. Not if she can't do it herself.]

I can control the elements, blood, plant life... or work at the molecular level or within the mind. But honestly, I don't normally do any of those things unless I have to. And here, doing too much at once is exhausting, for some reason.

	I'm a vampire. [Honestly, she doesn't normally like to go around telling people. It's not a secret in the dome, exactly, though either.] Um... for the pureblood the manipulation of blood is easy. Although my cousin is only a noble and he's great at it. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

You don't have to be scared.

[The reluctance and unease is clearly noted. Fear of vampires doesn't go without just reason. But knowing that doesn't make it any easier when faced.]

You're not defined but what you are or where you come from. Or even the abilities you possess. It's just the who.

There are so many different vampires here in Marina. But a report of someone being hurt by one is rare. It's good to be aware of the people around you, but try not to focus on what ifs. What someone can do and what some one is willing to do can vary drastically, right?
