It’s a lot less thrilling for Jack in real life (most of the time) but he doesn’t comment, not wanting to put a damper on Ianto’s enthusiasm. He has no trouble separating real life from play in this respect so how these things go in real life has no bearing on it.
“I think I’ve already got half the contents of that shop in that drawer!” he grins, and then pauses, because the idea of watching Ianto go round and discover things is more than appealing. “On the other hand, I would love to see what you make of the place, yeah! Though of course, if it’s ropes and carabiners you want, hardware stores are often more useful.”
