[Miranda has brought a dish of roasted mini bratwurst with a side of mashed potatoes--the potatoes are pretty lumpy, but she's rather proud of them--and takes it to the main table before looking around to see if anyone she recognized was there. But even if she doesn't, she'll be going up to people to say hello because if she doesn't know you then she should remedy that. It's terrible that a member of the Welcome Committee doesn't at least recognize the faces of everyone who has arrived.
Just don't put a chair in her way or there might be a mess all over.]
