Day 224 [Action] Semi-Open? Mostly for Sam Winchester and Buffy
Open

[Sam was glad to be back in the dome where he had more room to run and roam freely. Not only that but he had his bar back, his home and a comfort to many of the other residents of MarinaNova. For a while there he had been wondering if he were going to lose it a second time. Needless to say he was busy the first day back, double-checking for any damage, changes or things missing. It all seemed in order though, which was strange but... he wasn't about to look a gift horse in the mouth.

Speaking of horses, Sam was going to excuse himself between rushes, letting Buffy, Sookie-- or anyone else working at Merlotte's for the day--know he'd be back later. He trusted his employee's to keep watch of the bar while he did something extremely important.

That important thing was happily stripping down in his office and running quickly out the back on four furry paws before anyone was the wiser. He was one happy puppy, missing the ability to shift and run all over the dome even if it were for only two days. This was a major part of him, his freedom and stress relief. He felt alive and strangely content to sprint through the sectors. In the mean time he'd check in, as per usual, to see that everyone returned okay.]

For Sam Winchester

[Sam was so happy to be back that he didn't think twice about shifting into a beautiful black Stallion and racing along to the beach to run across the sand. Feeling the shift take it's toll, warning him of his time limit through a physical drain, he soon went into the waves, disappearing only to come up as a man. He smoothed his damp hair back, breathing heavy and wading for a moment, enjoying a swim.]

For Buffy

[Depending on where or when she's around she may catch a damp collie ducking in through the back to slip into Sam's office, or she'll find a slightly damp or partially naked Sam. Choose wisely.]

((ooc: Basically I'm leaving this open for anyone working to speak to Sam before or after the shift, or anyone to spot a collie running around. Others may speak to him at the bar in the evening if you want!! I'm open for just about anything and if your character would have been at the beach for some reason and would like to see Sam shift too, please talk to me and we can work something out! One or two people is A-Okay I just don't want a ton of people finding out.))

[Sam is wading deeper and trying to keep himself covered just in case the water is clear enough to see through. After all, he doesn't want to be flashing the other guy, this was uncomfortable enough. So he'll be in water up to his shoulders, bobbing over waves as they hit his back and threaten to push him into shallower water.

Clearing his throat.]

Yeah. Just a shifter. Not a werewolf or anythin' like that.

[Which little does he know that in the Winchester's world a Shifter is a different thing. Of course, there isn't any ick just floating around in the ocean either.]

[He watches, slightly impressed that the guy trusts him enough to take his eyes off him. He shifts in the water and comes out as a damp and familiar collie. He shakes the water off his fur and trots down to one of the tiki huts where he's got his clothes.

Once dressed he'll return, barefoot and carrying his boots. He'll scratch his neck awkwardly, clearing his throat.]

I uh... I don't exactly have a good record with tellin' people 'bout this so... I like t'keep it a secret. [Hint hint, don't go telling people.]

No. There're only a few kinds'a other supernatural things that know what we are too.

We like t'stay hidden. We often get confused for werewolves or somethin' an' we're killed, or worse. We're kinda low on th'food chain of the shiftin' breeds. It's dangerous for us to be known.

We don't want any trouble. We jus' wanna be left to our lives an we survive any way we can.

Not that I'm aware of? [Which is a blatant lie, but he's good at playing ignorant.]

I mean, I guess someone could use it t'spy on others or brake inta places but... if it's happened I don't know about it.

I've used it to run about town an check on people, make sure they're safe or keep watch but... nothin' terrible. I ain't no peepin' tom. I mean, I even turned inta a bunny to comfort the daughter of a friend once.
