Don't know 'bout the rest of you, but I'm sorta glad to be back to myself, you know? I'm makin' fresh pies to serve at Merlotte's later if anybody wants to come on down and have a bite. There'll be fried chicken, along with the rest of the menu.

Mm...it was. I mean, I was worried about her a lot, you know? Because she's my mom and this place can be pretty weird and she was always inviting strange people over for dinner and to live with us, but...

I guess that's just how moms are. Or at least how mine is. She was probably worried that I was the only one here who got to see his mom. [And now missing is definitely happening. Not just for her, but for his Dad and brother and his new extended family of everyone in the demon kingdom. Greta, Conrad, Wolfram, Gwendal, Gunter, Yozak... Everyone.]

Um... Do you have a big family?
