[Rose can be found all over Sector 2 today and while she hasn't really got a plan in mind, she was just looking for a way to spend her time in a relaxing and carefree manner.

Her first stop was the library and she spends a few hours perusing the books, remembering how she always liked to read whenever she had the time to. Rose doesn't borrow any in the end but she decides that she would come back again because it was nice and quiet, a place where she could go to think.

After the library, Rose can be found at The Bistro for lunch; nothing too heavy or elaborate (mainly because she doesn't need it) but she was craving some coffee and this place made just the perfect cup for her. She's only there for about an hour or so before she heads somewhere else, still enjoying her day.

The last place that Rose visits is The Winery and it will probably be only a pitstop before she needs to head on somewhere else to get a blood bag. That wasn't public knowledge of course and Rose was being discreet about it as much as she could. Only a select handful of people knew what she really was. She wished to keep it that way until she felt comfortable with sharing it.]

	[ Damon spots Rose as she's heading out of the Winery. He's got an ice cream cone in hand. He smiles in that playful, childish manner of his when she sees her. He hasn't been out of the apartment much lately; having been busy with furnishing up his new place and rebuilding a secret weapons room and all that. [It had been a while since Rose had spoken to Damon. She wasn't avoiding him, she was just busy with a few things, namely trying to build up her rehab points to earn herself a blue wristband.

So when she sees him with an ice cream in hand and that smile on his lips, Rose can't help but feel a small pang in her chest. Their time together had been brief but she knew that she wouldn't forget it. That was in the past though.]

Hello, stranger. [Rose smirks as she strolls up to him, stopping about a foot away.] Where have you been hiding?

[ Damon owes Rose plenty. She had saved his life the night Jules had decided to exact her silly revenge on him. Somehow, someway, the older vampire had seen something worth saving; protecting. That, or Rose had wanted to be the ridiculous goddamn hero. Either way, he doesn't think he deserved that, but that's one conversation they won't be having. ]

Who says I have? [ He takes a step towards her. ] You just haven't been looking. [ He's glad to see that unlike Alaric, she's still here. Sure, he's worried that she won't be tomorrow, but he's decided that he's not going to do that thing where he keeps his distance from her just because he's afraid of what he'll feel if and when he loses her. They're -- baby steps towards whatever. He's accepting the fact that he feels too much and he cares and it sucks. ]

Oh? Who said that I haven't been looking? [ Rose counters with a smirk, taking one step towards him also. ] In any case, it's good to see you again.

[ Damon was complicated but Rose saw good within him, deep down inside and buried underneath layers of a hard exterior. She cared enough about him to take the bite from Jules because she hoped that he would save Elena from Klaus or whomever else came after her. Dying had made her realise just how tired Rose was of running and she had accepted her fate, making her peace with death.

Then Rose came here, cured of a werewolf bite and thrust in amongst her friends and Damon, wondering if he felt anything for her. It seemed almost irrelevant now because she had Spike and they were living together, working towards a proper relationship.]

How have you been?

	[ Although they were living together, there was no great policy of informing each other of where they were going or how long they'd stay gone — something Spike appreciated quite a bit. [ Rose understood that there were times when they both needed their space and to do their own things without the pressure of having to see each other all of the time. It worked for her and she was fine with it. Still, that didn't stop the warm smile she gives Spike as soon as he greets her. Or that fond look she reserved just for him. ]

	Neither do I. [Rose had seen a few positive changes in him and it was encouraging, especially when she knew about his past and what he had done. But he managed to draw her out of her shell a little and to not feel so guilty about what she is.] I think we've brought out changes in each other though. Good ones.
