[His frequency remains on even after his call and either he doesn't seem to notice or just doesn't care. He's not really thinking about the fact people can and will hear him. They didn’t listen to him when he talked to himself back home after all. To be perfectly honest he’s not really expecting anyone to answer him either. It’s been awhile since he just spoke his thoughts out loud, sometimes he just can't care enough to keep it all inside or to worry about who hears him. In the distance you can hear the clock tower chiming from wherever he is. You get the impression that it’s somewhere high.]

This place is frustrating… but I can’t sleep no matter where I go. These thoughts keep racing in my head, keeping me awake at night.

[Someone tried to stay in sector 5 away from the more populated areas as a way to protect people from himself as well as to have privacy. Some may have seen him trying to sleep on a pew in the nondenominational prayer facility or at least hanging around there. Needless to say what stuff he had started to gather was now gone.]

Why am I here?

[A prison he gets, a fortified chamber with no hope of reaching outside made sense. Being bound in a straight jacket, muzzled and chained so he couldn’t harm anyone he expected. But being trapped in an underwater city with all the freedom in the world? He’s sure not all of these people really deserve to be locked up with him like this. There’s only so much he can do to protect them from himself.]

What am I supposed to do?

[Back home he had outlets, jobs to do, places where he belonged and situations where he could put his inhuman existence to good use. Even there he asked himself the same things. Here? There’s no changing what he is. There is no chance of rehabilitation. He’s a monster, he can’t have a normal life, it’ll turn upside-down at some point. He’s a danger to everyone, he’ll destroy everything he touches in time. He can’t protect people, that much was clear.]

Why do I still exist? I barely had a purpose in my world. I’m just a freak made to destroy. I don’t belong here, just like I didn’t belong on the surface.

[This place was far from civilization, containing criminals or at least those sentenced as such but it wasn’t the same as the underground. Not by a long shot. This place was clean and peaceful. The smell of death and decay didn’t permeate everything in sight.]

I should be the one lost in the dimensional stabilizer. [Muttered sadly compared to the almost empty words from before. A long pause then he seems to just sort of snap out of his distant rambling to bitch about his location.]

This view pisses me off too. [Just like it did back home. That’ll be the end of his monologue as he clicks the device off.]

[WV watches the feed with growing sadness and sympathy. Feeling trapped by a fate plotted out for you from the beginning, feeling helpless to change it—now those are feelings that a self-aware video game NPC like him can relate to. After a moment of thought, WV turns on the feed. He speaks conversationally:]

I did not care at all for the view, either, boy. I am still unused to such a vast amount of water. The view I painted on the wall of my living room, before our displacement, was a far more pleasing sight.

	[Haine certainly didn't see himself as special or anything, he figured many may feel the same way or tell him to stop whining in any case. He appreciates WVs take on all of this though. 	Oh, neither did I! For most of my life, I did not have the slightest inkling that I might paint. I was made to be a farmer, human—that was all I knew. I have since found myself to be much more. [She's not sure what to say because all of it hits home. She's just as frustrated at staying here and being transported against her will and knowing things she'd rather not know. Her hunt for the bladed murderer in her dreams and past had already come to an end too, so she didn't have anything else to really strive for. Except for protecting Nill, but that was gone now too.]

In one of the apartments in sector four. [it was tiny and cozy. so it was good enough for Naoto.] ...How about you?

[Yup, he does that enough, Nill would know. This is just normal Haine behavior, welcome to his insanity! Though it is eerie at times how similar they are. ~~It makes me want to canon update him ffff~~.]

Hm, I guess that makes us neighbors. [Not that he planned to be home much. He'd rather use it as storage and go do his own thing, maybe sleep in the Church or other less populated places anyway.]

I deserved to be locked up, but not like this. I shouldn't have this freedom, I'm a danger to everyone here.

I'd only want to go home so I can stop them from making more monsters like me. [And probably to die.] Or for Nill to be released from her stasis sleep and to be safe.

Otherwise, there really isn't anything I can think of that I'd want. [Other than to maybe have a purpose. But he doesn't believe that's possible.]

I know another troll here who should be dead. But this person is not. They've pulled us all from different fucking universes. The place we are now is under god knows how much pressure and doesn't so much as creak. They know our crimes past, present, and future!

Don't you think the prison is equipped to deal with whatever mysterious, vague and cryptic thing you are talking about?

I've already hurt a few people and I wasn't stopped. [Of course that was a special circumstance where the whole dome was affected by a laced mist with a drug that made people forget about their inhibitions. But STILL he could have killed someone.]

I've been bred to be indestructible and unstoppable. My healing is slowed but that's all, they underestimate me. Or maybe that's what they want. More than anything I'm afraid they won't try to stop me. Why should they care about criminals with a life sentence?

If one goes berserk and kills a few of you, what will it matter?
