Don't flatter yourself. [It's not you, Helix. It's him. Although that's not entirely true. He does like Helix. He thinks he has spunk and it would be a shame to extinguish that spunk.
He's also struggling with all the reasons why. Eric still isn't entirely comfortable with his humanity. Godric spent decades trying to unearth it in him. Sookie managed to spark it almost immediately, but it's taken years to foster it to a point where it makes him uncomfortable because it makes him vulnerable. If Eric cares about what happens to humans then it gives them and other vampires power. He's vulnerable enough with Sookie. He doesn't need other humans (or aliens) making him more vulnerable. ]
It upsets Sookie when I kill people. She slaps me and uninvites me for a few hours. [He's not saying anymore than that.]
By the way, you may experience some side effects.
[A smirk. If he has to live with the uncomfortableness of knowing he saved Helix for reasons that had nothing to do with Sookie, then Helix can live with the discomfort of knowing some of the side effects of his blood.]
It'll make you horny and you'll probably dream about me.
