"N-no it's--" he stops and takes a deep breath, holding it for a moment. He's trying to make sure that he doesn't say the wrong words in the wrong order.
"I--yeah. It's--" He nods a bit, lips pursed. "I don't think you're small."
Which probably wasn't the right thing to say, but it's obvious by the tone of his voice that he considers it a good thing.
