[She wants it too. He's helped her believe in it again. What she doesn't really believe in is an ending where she'll be able to just go to any world and timeline she wants with all her memories intact. She doesn't really think there is a happy ending waiting either way.
But she knows this place isn't right in what it's doing, and it needs to be stopped. That's more important than her and Reid. But just for the record it's a deeply shitty thing to make her choose between the best thing for the world and being with the one she loves again.
There is always going to be a part of her that wants finding their way back to take just one more day. But she does want it. Not just because it's the right thing for almost everyone, but because it's the right thing for Reid. He has a life and a family there and he needs them as much as they need him. She loves him too much to be selfish with that even if she's selfish with moments. Like staying at his side instead of exhausting all her energy on the problem at hand. But then it's always been like that for her. They couldn't entirely put their lives on hold while they fought the good fight as X-Men either. They had to recharge and remember what they were fighting for.]
