[ Data isn't exactly happy to be in the dome, though it isn't all objectionable. He doesn't enjoy being imprisoned, and he's driven by his sense of duty and loyalty to get both the Captain and himself back to the Enterprise, and all others who wish to leave the facility back to their proper places in their timelines. Of course, he is happy to call the Enterprise his home, and he does greatly miss those members of the crew who are not present. However, he has met individuals here who he has become fond of - and though it's really needless to specify, Seven is certainly ranked foremost among them. Going home, even though they are from the same reality, would still mean being separated without any guarantee of crossing paths again. Even still, he knows that his duty must remain his first priority.

[ Though the topic of the Borg is, understandably, a touchy one. For the entire Federation, for Data, and of course even moreso for Picard. Data, however, cannot equate Annika, an individual - a child - who was unwillingly assimilated, with the Collective. Removed from the Collective, individual drones are every bit as much victims as any killed in battle - if anything, they are greater victims for the actions which they have been forced to commit. ]
