"I know. It just... I sometimes wonder what it feels like. I mean, I'm way less ugh and ohmigod and love kind of drama than you so I think my perkiness could counteract the weight of the obsession." Clearly she's thought about this. Often. But she also knows that anyone wanting her as much as Angel and Buffy had once wanted each other is kind of out of the question. Or even as much as Buffy and Riley or Spike had wanted each other for awhile. Dawn's always been in the background, last in line, hidden behind all the big amazing heroics that went with being the Slayer and the Slayerettes and even the Scoobies.
"I think going slow is good. It gives time for the build up and the getting to know. Plus if Sam didn't see the you past the Slayer he'd have to be blind and dumb. I never got the guys who were attracted to you because of the Slayer part. You're like... way more than that." She leans forward and asks the bot for one more layer on her toes just to make it extra glittery. "Is he a good kisser? Have the two of you done it so you know there's no world altering stuff happening when you... you know... do it?"
She bounces just a bit in her seat, still smiling like a loon. Buffy's comment is nice, but she knows there's tons of more attractive less weird girls in the prison. "Sam knows all about the Supernatural stuff so I don't have to censor myself around him. And Peter... well he's really cute and I kind of word-vomit around cute boys so... he's getting the non-censored me too. And we've been out twice... for pizza and then coffee. Sam I usually just see at the Criminology classes."
