You holding up okay? I imagine what my head's like on a daily basis can be a little overwhelming for someone who isn't used to it. Is there anything I can do? We don't. And we're not even fighting about what he is or I am, or what he can do and I can't. It's about-- Look, people fight. Couples fight. Eric and I are squabbling. It happens. Bickering is part of being in a relationship. Even my grandparents got into spats and they're pretty much the poster couple for the kind of relationship I want to have.

I need to cool down, and so does he.

No, no, don't be. I really appreciate that you care and that you're looking out for me, because you care about me and not because you've got an intense hate-on for vampires. Which is usually why my friends back home show concern for my relationships. Not because they're worried about me like they say, but because they don't trust vampires.
