[Rebekah rolls her eyes a little at Nik's answer but it's to be expected. Her brothers would never probably have a warm reunion with one another -- she knows better than to expect anything like that. This is the way they've always interacted with one another. Kol has always been the free agent -- the loose canon of sorts and Klaus has never been able to completely navigate that.
But Rebekah loves both of her brothers, yes, she's always chosen Nik in the end (perhaps she always would) but Kol has his own special place in her heart as well.
So at the quirk about the daggers she chooses to smirk, shrugging her shoulders a little. Sure, she could get upset, huff at the thought, but it won't do anything, it won't change anything. And besides, Nik has no daggers here, no white oak ash. He lacks the ability to store them in boxes when they become too difficult for him to deal with. That knowledge is of no small comfort to her.]
I must have forgotten it. I got distracted by this stray I found out wandering in the rain. [She means you, Kol. She turns back to look at Niklaus now. At the very least, all things are mostly in good humor. As Kol is still weakened, she'd rather not have to intervene if things ended up escalating.
But if they did, she would. There is no doubt about that.]
Sorry, Nik. I suppose you will just have to go wanting this time.
