Yeah, you stick with what you know. [That way fewer people get hurt by the weirdness that surrounds you. And unfortunately for (this) Spike, all the Scoobies know him. They know parts of him that he would probably rather they didn't. And Dawn can't imagine how that feels, how she would feel if people knew some of the things that make her the most vulnerable. She knows she wouldn't like it though. So she's trying not to bring it up anymore unless the conversation goes there or he flat-out asks her.
