[Maybe she should have been less callous about it but Rose didn't want to give him the wrong idea. It wasn't that long ago when she openly flirted with Sam the first night they met. This was a one time thing so she probably should show him a good time with it.
He smelled good. Better when he moved in between her legs and got closer than he had ever been before. She could hear his heartbeat too. If she had one, it would have skipped when Sam placed his hand on her hip. Rose still thought he was attractive and nothing would change that, but she wouldn't want to jeopardize either of their relationships. A hand settled at his waist as she waited on the inevitable.
