She had to prepare herself ;A;
[His sudden disregard for her personal space is shocking enough on its own-- it always has been-- but what he next says, what he means, sends her eyebrows nearly skyrocketing. It's rare for her to be left at a loss of how to react, but this does a pretty good job for a few seconds, until she starts to clumsily think over it all as her brow screws up into perturbed contemplation.
She doesn't know how much time passed between her time and his, the pressing and dutiful need to watch over this boy, to guide him, could eventually become like love she supposes, and her actions to lead Luke to care for her like-- he apparently does. But the her right now... she doesn't have those experiences or feelings he's talking about. Instead, she has her own, different yet similar, in this place that she's only recently started to realize and figure out. Is she supposed to forget all that, and just go along with his feelings? Somehow... that action seems wrong, no matter what their result is, or will be, on Auldrant]
