[This is all very interesting. Reid has been here quite some time, and yet he's not paranoid about revealing information about himself and what he's learned about the prison. Nothing terribly personal of course, or anything close to classified, but Michael expects that a profiler is as careful as as spy is about what he gives out when in unknown and possibly hostile territory. Telling people what you know can be dangerous if you're not sure who's watching and what they would do with the intel. So that, combined with the man's obvious intelligence and competence, leads Michael to conclude that Reid believes there's nothing to be gained by being overly secretive. Telling entire dome population who he is and what he can do by teaching this class, and then also inviting a random new guy to check out the Investigative team, both project some level of openness.]
[Which, even if Michael doesn't confuse the exchange of basic information for trust, is a relief. Michael isn't about to relax easily, but it's good to know there's less reason to be looking out for number one all the time, never able to risk any attempt at even the smallest trust. He's good with assets but he much prefers friends.]
[(Either that, or this guy is one hell of a liar.)]
Maybe I'll see you there sooner than later. I'm used to working with a team to get things done.
