days 202 & [forward date] 203 // action (day 202 open).
[ Claire is sitting on the beach. She's not doing anything remarkable, though she alternates between laying out and practicing some defensive techniques she learned while Kanda was still here. You may find her lazing about doing nothing in particular. You may find her with her legs in a strong defensive stance in the sand, moving her arms in a fashion not unlike Tai Chi. You may find her splashing her toes in the water, or eating the small picnic lunch she brought with her. She will be in this sector from about eleven in the morning until four in the evening. ]
[ Both before and after her beach visits, from about eight am to elven am, and then from four to eight pm, Claire takes time out of her day to spend in the park. In the morning, you can find her going for an invigorating run. In the evening, she will be relaxing and lollygagging around the koi pond. ]
[ They'd talked about exploring more, and Claire was curious about Sector 6. The only time she'd ever gotten close was when Dean was afflicted with Hyena Wasp venom. She'd never had an opportunity otherwise. Brave, sometimes reckless, she's considered going in alone a few times... But she's thought better of it. She doesn't really care about potentially dying. She never stays that way. But she doesn't really feel like dealing with guff from the Wardens. She doesn't feel like it's fair to ask Dean, who suffered through that ordeal, to go with her, so she turns to the next person she almost trusts.
Spike is her companion of choice for the venture. They agreed to meet at the gate of Sector 6 to make sure they had ample supplies for a day's exploration. Claire brought a backpack full of food and water, for herself, and was more than prepared to let Spike feed off of her if he got hungry. She had some juice, too; not that she needed the help replenishing her blood supply, but it wouldn't hurt. She heads to the gate and waits patiently, backpack strapped to her back, ready to go in. The adrenaline rush she already feels from the danger she's about to face is exhilarating. ]
