It takes Eric a moment to process what Sookie is saying; when he does, he goes completely still, lips against Sookie's collarbone. He doesn't want to see Godric, not now, not ever. Godric is still a wound that oozes during the most unexpected moments.
Slowly, preparing himself for the sight of his maker, he looks up, going (if possible) more pale. He swallows hard and moves aside, reaching for a blanket to cover Sookie up.
"Godric," he bows his head reverently. He supposed he got in because the house now belongs to Eric as well and a vampire doesn't need an invitation to a vampire's home. "We weren't expecting you."
