okay that's it we have lost all credibility /o/
[There's a moment of relaxed ease where they gaze at each other and he's a little lost in the haze of it, from the booze to her closeness to the little offered kindnesses that he doesn't deserve. Her kiss sends his drifting mind into a spin and for a wide-eyed half second he loses his concentration. There's a sudden dip in their flight path accompanied by a surprised noise that's probably lost entirely between the wind and her lips covering his.]
[He recovers quickly, or his flight does anyway, the rest of him less so as his free hand lifts to her cheek -- or as much as his very fingertips can find in this position. He lets that kiss linger for just a second, his lips twitching in want to return it but this just isn't the place, he can't concentrate on both at once and this time it's not the beer's fault, but the spark of touch that shivers over him.]
[His fingertips very gently pry her back and he smiles up at her, eyes soft and accepting.] One second. [He turns them again and shifts her so he's carrying her bridal-style, then swoops down to the ground and makes a quick landing, placing Raven very carefully on her feet.]
[And before he can even think it his hands are cradling her face and he's returning that kiss in earnest, not as careful as he really should be but enough, he dearly hopes. This isn't what he'd planned but it's fine, more than fine, the fog in his head is so welcome and the warmth of her against his hands and mouth makes him not care about whatever else might have occurred to him. He needed someone and she's here and wonderful and for once (twice? wasn't there one other...?) he just lets himself get lost in the moment.]
