day 187; closed for alaric saltzman
[ First barbie, and now grumpy Saltzman. He would have gone with meeting up with his bestie first, but he hadn't really planned on this whole 'playing catch up with the Mystic Falls crew' thing on Day 187 in the first place, but if he's already out and about, bored and in dire need of some more company entertainment anyways, why the hell not? He's had enough of this whole give Ric some space crap. It's been four days since he arrived. That's plenty of time to get settled in.
He knocks on the door to the Gilbert-Forbes apartment. The girls aren't home. He checked. (No need for any witnesses if his invitation to head out for whatever is going to be straight out rejected.) He knocks again, slightly impatient. He really would have just barged right in except -- whoops -- he hasn't been invited. (Here's hoping that once Alaric figures that out, he's not going to make this any more difficult than it has to be.)
Damon's here with a purpose in mind. It's not all about Alaric. It's not all about him either. This has mostly everything to do with the newly opened Sector 6. His curiosity needs to be sated, and who better to take with him on this little adventure than--? Ding ding! That's right. There's no one else he can really count on. (Dragging Elena along is a big no no.) And the list of people he can trust in MarinaNova is -- well, let's be real. It's not a list. It's a work in progress.
He knocks once more (possibly in warning of what's to come next) and decides -- screw it. (No, he's not to going to break the door down. He'll do much worse than that.) ]
If this is a bad time, and you need an extra five minutes with your naughty bits, just say so. I can hear you... [ He knows he's in there. ]
