[Happy as he acted toward Veridical, Komui isn't exactly celebrating his achievement in getting Cross' Innocence delivered tomorrow. The General's life seems a great risk in order to have him armed, but it's not something Komui wouldn't ask of another Exorcist -- or hasn't. With the Order, it's always rob Peter to pay Paul.]

[Still, that doesn't mean he's not going to take precautions. Which is why he places a private call to Rebecca, making sure to keep his usual smile in his voice as much as possible.]

Heya, Rebecca! It's been a bit. Wondering if we could chat sometime today? [Of course she'll know it's about Cross, nothing to be done about that.]

((OOC: The above is hackable, however if you want to hack more than Komui's initial request please talk to Oli because I'm pretty sure Rebecca would be able to tell, at minimum.))

Well, [he clears his throat] I have news. It's good news, in some ways. I convinced the Wardens to give me the General's Innocence, so he'll be able to defend people against the Noah if he has to.

I'm not sure how much you know about how Innocence works, but this is a little different than before... so I suppose I'm asking for your help.

You saw Judgment, the gun Cross uses? The thing that made that gun able to work against the Noah was Innocence. Innocence is an element, and in its pure form it looks just like a cube of matter.

The Wardens wouldn't let us get Judgment outright, but they granted us permission to have the Innocence in its elemental form. Unfortunately we can't just put it into a new gun; it doesn't work that way. The only way I can see for Cross to be able to use it is for him to take it into his blood.

And that... [he hesitates, watching her carefully,] It's been done before, but the General is unique. Back home when he -- when we lost him, he had desynchronized with Judgment. There was a time here when Judgment blew up in his face because he desynched enough for Judgment to become volatile.

I honestly don't know what would happen if General Cross were to have trouble synchronizing while the Innocence was in his blood. It could -- [mid-word, Komui decides not to state the obvious.] We just don't know.

So what I need from you is, if you can, to let me know immediately if Cross starts acting strange in any way.

[Her face is quite blank at the moment, just as she takes all that in and grasp it. A small shift of a brow or a creasing of it as she thinks, and then a biting of her lower lip. Saying that they have a fucked up world is really not doing it justice. Immense, incredible understatement.

She nods, chewing that lip.] When's he going to... whatever he has to do? [To put this stuff in his blood.]

And once it's in, it's... in?

[As for the second part, he can only smile sadly.] I don't know whether it could be undone or not. Only a few Exorcists have tried it. My sister was the first. [Just to demonstrate that he understands your pain, here.]

Nothing may go wrong at all. The General is the best of the Exorcists, he can do things no one else can. But if it does, I'll need to try something right away, because an Innocence out of control could be very dangerous not only to the General, but to everyone here.
