Hi there! This is Jen, rounding out her cast with the last two additions until I run out of steam and make a drop. I already have the Tenth Doctor, Jyuushiro Ukitake, Vampire Hunter D, and Cloud Strife (FF7). Unfortunately, I'm on hiatus, so I may be quite slow in getting the new additions going in the game.
This guy here is Sesshoumaru, from Inuyasha. If you're unfamiliar with Sesshoumaru, I'll summarize a few of the basics as best I can, considering he comes from another of those series that just wouldn't end. Sesshoumaru is the eldest son of a legendary dog demon called the Inu no Taisho. The Inu no Taisho was a powerful and influential demon lord, but he was killed while defending the human mother of his second child, a hanyou (or half demon) named Inuysaha. Sesshoumaru considered his father's death something of a waste, as like most demons, Sesshoumaru frowned upon liasons with humans, and especially on falling in love with them and having children. Plus, Sesshoumaru had been nursing plans to overcome his father in battle and thus surpass him. Instead, he wound up with a hanyou baby brother, and an inheritance he didn't want: a sword that couldn't kill. The sword, Tenseiga, was forged from one of the Inu no Taisho's fangs, and had the ability to revive the dead. Part of the Inu no Taisho's plan in giving Sesshoumaru the sword was to teach him compassion, something that didn't happen until Sesshoumaru met a human child named Rin. Long story short, Rin was killed by wolves, and Sesshoumaru revived her and from then on became her protector. He eventually came to value Rin's life above anything else. During this whole process, he also stopped trying to kill his little brother, who had inherited the Tenseiga's battle-ready twin, a sword called Tessaiga, which Sesshoumaru badly wanted.
Speaking of family conflicts, Sesshoumaru may have had an excuse to be a little annoyed with Inuyasha besides the whole sword and part human thing, because during one of their battles, Inuyasha cut off his left arm--or foreleg, actually, since Sesshoumaru was a dog at the time. It all worked out in the end, however, as once Sesshoumaru learned the lessons his father had intended him to learn, he got his entire arm back with interest: a sword called Bakusaiga that was created from his own demonic energy and was in fact stronger than Tessaiga. He willingly aided his brother in the final battle against an evil hanyou named Naraku who had been plaguing both of their lives, and then sent Rin to live in the human village where Inuyasha spent most of his time. Sesshoumaru was last seen stopping by with gifts for Rin, and making a frowny face when his brother's girlfriend/wife, Kagome, called him oni-san (brother).
