Hiling just stared right back at him, the smirk never leaving her face. "I am. We had a bet and you lost. Now, pay up."
"It was a stupid bet in the first place," Lyle grumbled, looking at the empty glass beside him. It hadn't contained alcohol this evening, but he was starting to regret that it hadn't.
Hiling wagged a finger at him. "Stop being a baby. You agreed to it so you have to fulfill your half of the deal."
She leaned in closer to him and he reluctantly looked back up at her. Despite being quite a bit shorter than him, she could still seem rather intimidating when she wanted to.
"Pay up~"
"Fine." He leaned over and kissed her quickly on the cheek. "There. You happy now?"
She pouted at him. "I'd think you'd know how to kiss better than that," she whined. A moment later, she was grinning again. "Seeing as how you are dating Aaaanew~"
Lyle sighed, not wanting her to be bringing up Anew simply because Anew didn't like the other Innovators. "Fine." He leaned forward to give her a proper kiss. "Happy now?"
She stared at him a moment then grinned brightly. "Yep!" And she turned and practically bounced out.
(ooc: I have no idea how I came up with this... but it sounded plausible ^^;; )
