How many different monsters is too many? We don't want to feel like an intense survival horror game with a giant bestiary.
Fewer is better. One or two distinct kinds of monsters is plenty.

Three to five is a good, medium-sized number with enough variety.

Numbers shouldn't matter, as far as I'm concerned.
2 (4.4%)
As many monsters as you want, but pick only two types per incident, depending on Alessa's stressor. (e.g. nurses if she's been brought to the hospital)

Should we limit the areas that are affected when an incident happens?
Monsterpalooza! Go for the gold!
2 (4.4%)
It's more fun and creepier if sometimes they can appear in the shelter, too!
11 (24.4%)
It's okay if they can break in, so characters can defend against it, but indoors is normally safe.
25 (55.6%)
Monsters should never be able to be indoors.
7 (15.6%)
Should we stick to the "only at night" model, or enable an incident to happen all "day"? Incidents will be rarer if they last longer.
Only at night, so the bulk of the week is always safe to interact.

I need more than a weekend! A full week would be better.
