There was a time when Marina was only a dream. An idea, vague and whimsical; a collection of things we wanted in games that we didn't often see. In many ways, that game could have been anything: the only things that really mattered were that it would attract and engage players, each and every day. We wanted to found a city, but we knew that city needed people -- people to live in it, people to love it.
You are those people. You've come, you've found us, you've lived in our city, and you've told all your friends. It's been forever since either of us has done any advertising at all: yet we get new apps every weekend, and new players almost every weekened. Every time one of you decides to tell a friend, you make Marina bigger and stronger. Every time one of you decides to app a new character, you fill Marina with love.
There are so many games out there. I've been a part of others before. But no game has ever felt so much like home, and it's not because this one is "mine"; it isn't mine, not anymore, not really. It's because this game is yours that I can say
