His clothes were still, for the most part, in the other washer. The digital numbers up top said he still had twenty minutes and he had to frown at it slightly. Even if laundry usually took longer to get back to him...keeping track of the time was odd. Even with- he shoved the thought aside. "Naked day isn't as fun as it sounds," he quipped instead. Yes, humor. Always a good route. Not really, but Chris' default when truly at a loss. "And being sick's generally a pain. More trouble then it's worth, even if it got you out of school."
Chris raised a brow at the repetition - it was straight-forward, wasn't it? - before it seemed to click. Good enough for him! He wasted no time into biting into pork and cabbagey and carrot goodness. "No problem." He didn't add he liked to share. Or that he hadn't eaten with someone else since...well, since that realtor guy convinced him to take a place at Marchen. "Heh, no one really cares once you're out of grad school I realized," Chris said. "There's this little Chinese place two blocks over - Red Dragon. Not the most original name, but they were quick." Which was pretty much all Chris would care about.
"Since they opened?" Which was about two weeks, give or take. No, he hadn't moved in completely yet - he had his reasons for time and such. And he did have enough underwear to a point. "What about you?"
