My what? Jane had to wonder as she hadn't missed that near admission but Chris supplied a name in the next sentence so it was pretty obvious who he was talking about. It was a woman, maybe someone he was with or had been with, named Maureen. Even though Jane had often ragged on her grandmother for being an awful gossip Jane herself wasn't much better. She wouldn't call herself a gossip, preferring to use the term 'curious' instead but it's what Jane was and she tucked that little nugget of information into the back of her mind to ask about later. "A scavenger hunt is a good way to put it or a treasure hunt since junk sales turn one man's trash into another person's treasure. It's awesome when you find something totally unique for dirt cheap".
She should have pegged him for a fan of the classics, he sort of had that intellectual air about him and now that Jane thought about it, wasn't there some hardcore bookworm up on the tenth floor? Wait a minute... "You're Mr.Kindle", she blurted out without thinking. "I mean, you were the guy who posted about kindles on the forum, not that that's actually your name obviously". Hm, these little nicknames Jane had come up with in her head could be troublesome if Jane kept blurting them out. She was fairly certain this Lily person probably wouldn't like being called wrecking ball for one thing and now she was calling Chris Mr. Kindle. "Did you decide whether or not you liked your kindle after?"
