WHO: Jimmy, Peter and anyone who would like to drop by.
WHAT: FOOTBALL! Oh and Jimmy & Pete realizing who 306 & 504 really are.
WHERE: At Jimmy's apartment 504.
WHEN: Feb. 5th, 6pm
WARNINGS: Swearing is always possible but it should be clean otherwise.
Football have never been Jimmy's bag. More than anything it had been pushed upon him, first with his father and brother who were big football fans and then later with his friends until it just became a yearly ritual to watch the game. Last year he had spent it at Gordon's house surrounded by his buddies and had a great time but this year Jimmy was all alone in Boston, away from his old buddies. Okay, Elysia lived here but that wasn't exactly the same thing. She was his childhood friend, not one of the boys. He still hoped that she might show up if she saw his public invite on the forum but it wouldn't have surprised him if she didn't. Jimmy wouldn't be surprised if nobody showed up.
It was a last minute thought brought on by a bout of loneliness, a fact that the resident of 306 had been right about. That was also one person who claimed they were going to show but Jimmy couldn't decide if that was a good thing or a bad thing. His money was currently on bad. Though the two residents of Marchen had never met face to face, they had a few interesting conversations on the building forum. They were interesting and incredibly odd conversations. Jimmy could easily say that the resident of 306 was the oddest person he had seen on the forum so far.
Whatever, Jimmy figured. Watching the game with a weirdo couldn't be any worse than watching it alone. His apartment was all ready for company after a quick clean up by Jimmy. Dishes were put away, the small dining room table was dusted off and most importantly, he had beers cooling in the fridge and a few bags of chips stashed in the cupboard. It wouldn't be the fanciest get together but if anyone showed then they'd have plenty to drink and snack on. If no one showed then there was more for Jimmy. He went over to the fridge to grab himself a Alexander Keith while the pre-show blared on the television when the doorbell sounded. "He better not be wearing bells", Jimmy muttered to himself as he strode toward the front door. Just to be sure Jimmy peeked out of the eye hole.
Nope, no bells but there was something odd about the young man standing outside Jimmy's front door. Something familiar but Jimmy couldn't put his finger on it. Being that it was eleven years since he had last seen his cousin Peter it was no wonder Jimmy didn't recognize him right away. If he had Jimmy might not have opened the door but he did, smiling at his guest. "Are you the wack job from three oh six? Come on in and get your free beer".
