The blond hair looked good on Elysia but it was it strange to see her with light hair. Strange enough that his eyes strayed to the blond locks again, second guessing himself, but then Jimmy looked back at her face. It was still the same Elysia, still the same eyes which reassured him but reading her reaction was tricky. Was she happy to see him? The shock was written on her face as clear as day but Jimmy wasn't sure about happiness. He didn't have to wonder for too long as the petite woman threw her arms around his neck. A surprised chuckle escaped Jimmy as he wrapped his arms around Elysia in return.
"So I'll take that as a yes". The tension Jimmy had unknowingly been holding in slowly released from the pit of his stomach. He hadn't wanted to admit but part of Jimmy had been worried that she wouldn't remember. His childhood had the best memories of his life and it would be heartbreaking if his old partner in crime didn't remember.
But she did and even hauled out an old gem that made Jimmy chuckle again. "That doesn't sound like me", he faked innocently but he couldn't keep the grin off his face as he remembered the trouble they got into. "Oh wait, that dent. Didn't that get us grounded and banned from seeing each other for two weeks?" The latter part of that punishment lasted all of a day and by the next morning Jimmy had snuck out to visit Elysia and tried to talk her into sneaking out with him to go play.
"Hey, it could have been worse. I wanted to see if we could drive it out, remember?" Jimmy shook his head, "I can only imagine the trouble we could have gotten into if I had convinced you. So...I'm guessing you live here too? Unless you've grown up to become a party crasher", he joked. "When did you move in?"
