Parker was honestly fighting tears, she was so worried. What if something horrible had happened to Hardison? It wasn't like him to just dissapeare or ignore them. Especially her. Parker to get him to come running without even trying usually, but she hadn't heard from him in days, and he hadn't responded to any of the messages she'd left him. Something was very seriously wrong, and she was feeling panicked. She really hadn't realized how much she'd started to depend on the team until she was without them. Especially Hardison.
Parker brushed at her eyes angrily, refusing to cry. Everything would be ok as soon as she and Eliot found him. He'd be fine, just stuck in some locked room or something, that was like him, right? It wasn't like he couldn't look out for himself, but of all the people on the team, he was the one most likely to need a little help getting out of sticky situations.
Parker was literally tearing apart the library, throwing books around, pushing over furniture to look for possible trap doors, actually pushing book shelves aside slightly, though they were extremely heavy, to see if there were hidden passeges, pulling up rugs, and just in general wreaking havoc on the room. She let out a frustrated, scared, and upset sounding wail when she couldn't find anything, but she was determined not to give up. She was going to continue like this in every room until she found out what had happened to him. Perhaps this was Rabastian's sick plan to make her admit how important he was to her, how much she really cared about him, how she might even...
Once she stopped moving and stood in the middle of the room, eyes brimmed with the tears she was desperately trying to fight back, she heard footsteps coming in the door behind her.
