1 → First Hogsmeade trip of the year. The trio sees Mundungus Fletcher and Professor Slughorn.
Katie Bell is imperiused by the cursed necklace, landing her in the hospital for six months. Katie will be out of contact for a month. Harry tells Professor McGonagall he suspects Draco Malfoy.

6 → The Official Quidditch practise schedule goes up. It is located here

7 → Day one of Hogwarts' first talent show auditions, sponsored by Victoria Frobisher begin at 5pm and will run until 6pm during the normally schedule choir rehearsal.

8 → Fliers for Halloween activities are hung up in all four common rooms. These activities include: A costume contest with various categories, a pumpkin carving contest, the traditional feast and a jack o lantern that will tell spooky stories. Festivities start at 6pm and will run until 10 pm.

8 → Day two of Hogwarts' first talent show auditions, sponsored by Victoria Frobisher begin. They will run from 1pm to 4pm during the regularly scheduled band rehearsal.

10 → First rehearsal for the talent show begins at 7pm and will run until 8:30 pm in the choir room.

11 → Second rehearsal for the talent show begins at 7pm and runs until 8:30 pm in the choir room.

12 → Second rehearsal for the talent show begins at 7pm and runs until 8:30 pm in the choir room.

14 → Harry Potter has his second lesson with Professor Dumbledore. They visit ten year old Tom Riddle and learn more about his upbringing and personality.

15 → Mention of Slughorn’s Christmas party is brought up by Hermione Granger, who invites Ron Weasley.

16 → Hogwarts' first talent show will be in the Great Hall from 7pm to 9pm. There will be a fifteen minute intermission at 8:15 and there will be refreshments provided by the house elves. Ribbons for most creative, most musical, etc will be given out at the end of the show.

19 → Plot open to three people: The Daily Prophet reports on a muggle neighbourhood in Bath is attacked and a family of four were killed. Death Eaters are suspected to be responsible for the crime. Three people to react to the article on the journals.

20 → Hogwarts’ band receives music for their holiday performance, auditions for solos will begin the next week. There will be two open flute spots, two open percussion and one for violin.

21 → Hogwarts’ choir receives their music for their holiday concert. Auditions for solos beging the next week.

22 → The art club is given the task of creating posters for the band’s and the choir’s concerts. They will break up into groups of four to work on the posters and will be voting on whichever groups’ posters best fit the spirit of the performance to be hung up around the school.

27 → Auditions for band solos begin. Each person will prepare a two minute piece for Professor Burbridge and she will be posting the results the next week at practise.

Holiday Hogsmeade visit.

28 → Auditions for choir solos begin. Each person will prepare a two minute piece for Professor Flitwick and he will be posting the results the next week at practise.

29 → Harry Potter officially asks Dean Thomas to fill in for Katie Bell. The team has it’s worse practise yet with Ron punching Demelza Robins in the nose and everyone’s tempers running high. Harry and Ron run into Dean and Ginny kissing after practise and Ginny tells Ron off.

30 → Hogwarts’ Halloween party begins at 6pm. Festivities include a costume contest with various categories, (ie most frightening, cutest, funniest, etc), a pumpkin carving contest, the traditional feast and a jack o’lantern that will tell spooky stories. Prefects will escort the students back to their houses at 10pm and the seventh year prefects will go on patrol from 10pm to 12am.

31 → Halloween Dinner Feast in the Great Hall.
