As stated in our Week 3 Event Post post, characters introduced to the game after October 10th will not be given a Bangle. This will continue to be an on going plot device and evolution, so hold on tight as we keep our ongoing event in full swing.
Keep in mind that there are aliments that will follow due to not having a Bangle. These are detailed in our event post. We expect that players keep this in mind and have your characters act with these ailments in line.
These will be the physical game changes due to the narrative:
Translator Microbes
The needles that give the technology to Honored Guests that will allow them talk to each other as well as the natives to the world of Mandalus. These are still injected into your character upon arrival.
The Old Town Beach
Instead of the Station, characters will find themselves on the Beach in the Old Town District. There will be a robbed member of the C'Meni there to aid them and give them the basics of what is going on.
➡ WEATHER
As it is becoming fall for most of us stupid weather being a jerk and not being cooler like it's supposed to, the weather is changing in Mandalus!
It's getting cooler, think typical fall temperatures. Your characters can see their breath frost in the early morning and in the late evening after the sun's gone down.
People should be dressing accordingly. Heavier jackets, scarfs, adorable knit caps. No more booty shorts and tank tops for you, Tony Stark.
As Halloween gets closer beware of the fog that will roll into the city at night and stay till the early morning!
➡ DEATH MECHANIC CHANGES
While we posted this in a previous post for events, we thought it was good to repost it for everyone to see.
Characters will remain dead for seven days as before. If you are choosing to kill your character to make way for a canon update, your character will instead be gone from the city for a week.
Lingering effects still apply, given that the C'Meni use old magic to tie the spirit back to the body. Your character will lose one sense for a week. Be creative with this!
Your character will awaken in the forest with the help of robed C'Meni. They will escort your character to the nearest road and leave you to be picked up as their location remains hidden from the Cult.
Deliria is the Dreamweaver, but as she is guiding characters souls to the C'Meni priests, you may just have an experience with her! Feel free to talk about this with Deliria's player. It might lead to some interesting things.
