"You done?" He rose both eyebrows at him but there was amusement in his gaze and he was comfortable with the joke, which was odd when he thought about it, but he was in dire need of something light and quiet in his life, something that wasn't torture or fear or betrayal and abuse. He needed stupid jokes and watching bad movies and napping in the middle of the day. He needed time to figure himself out again. Especially after losing his Alpha status. It was hard dealing with it physically, because his body was gradually going back to being that of a Beta in stature.
Stiles touched his shoulder and Derek let him, he let Stiles comfort him this way for the second time, and he didn't think anything needed to be said. He let the moment happen and pass by like it wasn't something to think about and he let himself just enjoy the physical contact that didn't need questioning. If anything, the physical contact from Stiles was one thing he'd come to trust amongst a lot of things he couldn't trust at all.
Stiles spoke and Derek nodded, then headed for his apartment. He hauled the microwave out of the kitchen first, heading back to the Jeep and putting it in the back, then went up for the television afterwards. Once that was done, he made his way to his room to stuff his clothes into a bag, deciding not to worry about folding them because he'd be shoving them into a dresser when he got back anyway.
