The retreat earned a frown and Greed halted still; as if all the cogs in his body suddenly put on the breaks and there wasn't a single movement. Save for the slow arch of his eyebrow and the earned frown as Loki took his steps backwards.
"Oi, oi, oi," the Sin drawled as he left space between. He unfurled his hand, let his nails creep from the wall as he held it out as a token. A promise without the need of explanation. He shuffled on his heels, swung himself over his hips as both of his feet went out in opposite directions. "I'm not going to hurt you."
Because he wasn't; it didn't matter if the kid happened on his turf without proper introductions. And maybe it was the slightest bit rude, but the Sin in question had in qualms. Instead, it was a familiar sight - a loner in the dark looking for a place to go.
It had been a while.
Greed sunk in on himself and his smile brimmed; crude teeth sliding together as he shrugged his shoulders slightly. "Just a parlor trick, huh." He repeated without question - a statement as he flung a hand out to right his shades up his nose. "Quite a trick, then."
But Loki wasn't the only creature down below with a few tricks of the trade. Though, the homunculus had no need to flaunt - not here. Not with the kid already sounding out alarm bells with his fast recoil; the small noise of his shoes echoing over the lazy drip of the pipe, the dull spark of a bad light. "Well, I'm not about to deny you - but this place isn't exactly safe."
Greed tapped his foot mindlessly before swinging up straight; a violent gesture for anyone that could have passed as human. "Eh-," he started, a click on the backside of his teeth. "-well, if you're going to stay here at least come upstairs, hmn? Down here isn't exactly pleasant."
