[Action]
[Surprisingly enough, she paused before responding. She turned her gaze to her hands, with a thoughtful frown as she considered.
What would her father say? What would his council be in such a situation? Two potential threats, with different circumstances surrounding each. It was a quandary to be sure.]
...The problem is, they both have the potential to be dangerous to us. We know the Cult means us harm, and we can easily guess that this silence means they're preparing to mount some new offensive against us. [She spoke slowly, almost as if turning the words and ideas over in her mind as she was speaking, like a blacksmith mulling over ores for their work, looking for the perfect steel for their blade.] But at the same time... the System being absent doesn't mean that there's not a potential threat there. In fact, it could even be more of one. Because with those in charge absent, that leaves a power void, and who knows what the ideas and plans of those that might fill it would be.
And if someone takes that power, and the original members return and there's a clash, we could well be caught in the middle of it.
We've set up camp between dragons and lions, now we're left to decide if the lions will devour us in our sleep before the dragons return to roast us.
[After that wry remark, she looks to Wrathion, to try and gauge his reaction.]
