accidental video; (backdated to Sept 2)
[When he first saw it, he wasn't sure if his eyes were deceiving him, which was hardly a feeling he had often, if ever. But it only took him a moment to realize it was real; and why not? The Enterprise was here, so why not Khan's ship as well?
He'd been riding the Mandalay, and checking the network while he did, when it had caught his eye at the far end of the spaceport. It was when he stepped off at the spaceport stop that the video feed clicked on, entirely by accident, but he wasn't paying attention to his phone any more, or what it was showing. Instead he was walking toward the largestarship that was parked, and anyone watching the network would see it.
The USS Vengeance. His ship-- No, their ship. His crew. Marcus might have asked Khan to design it, but he'd done so with the plan that he would take it, and that he and his family would have a ship of their own in this new century to continue to their important work with. A ship that far outstripped anything the Federation already had.
And now that ship was here. If he thought of all the things he wanted here (apart from his people, of course), this, this was certainly one of them. Even if it couldn't fly, it would have shuttles, equipment, replicators, and a whole slew of weapons. He may have designed this ship while under Marcus' control, but he was still proud of his work.
After he entered the ship through the airlock (it was wide open; that was something that would change), and wandered through it's dark hallways toward the bridge, he noticed the phone was on by accident. There's just the hint of a frown at that before the feed clicks off.]
