Elizabeth was sat in the place she had been since she'd awoken from her dreams, dressed, if only because the maid she'd hired insisted on it. Black, she was a widow now, there was no other choice. Then she sat in her library, by the huge bay window that streamed sunlight in on the expansive room. Held stiff as she watched unseeing of the world passing by, fingers curled around the necklace Gabriel had given her, turning them over and over. They were part of him, his grace. The same as the tigers, all of them, the whole pack that filled the room. Mourning over the loss as much as she would, growling at anyone that they disliked near her.
Happily enough, Sam they did not mind, raising their heads to stare at the intruder.
Elizabeth on the other hand, wasn't so quick to respond. Took what felt like an age to realise that someone had spoken let alone who. But where she might of ignored someone else, Sam was as close as family. Through marriage, if nothing else, and her stomach twisted again. "Master Winchester, are you my advisor now, seeing to me?" He could come in or not, she knew she was poor company, and her head turned back to the window, looking at the inner courtyard, the fountain bubbling in the middle of it. A day like any other, aside from the fact the Serpent had attacked, and it all seemed to fall apart.
"Then come see, come check." Her lips quirked in an unpleasant smile. "There is a chair beside for someone to sit since my husband will no longer."
