Jack walked away with a smirk on his face, mainly because she hadn't pushed him away, and he'd felt her kiss him back. Which of course, meant that she was standing there, dumbfounded and not knowing what the fuck to do. He'd proven a point, and sure, her feelings had gotten somewhat trampled in the whole process of it, but ultimately he'd proven himself to be able to back up his shit, unlike her, who couldn't manage to back up her claims at all. There was of course, a fear he'd had, that she would rush back and agree to the bet. That she might actually want more. Jack had no idea what he was going to do if she came to him and asked him to bet her or even if she tried to invite him back to her place. What would he do then to get rid of her? He wanted to piss her off, and god willing she was over there fuming right about now.
As he took a few more strides he saw something coming out of one of the trees in front of him. Jia was storming towards him like an angry cyclone. For his part, he just stood there with a somewhat dumb look on his face as he waited for her to approach, not even bothering to lift a hand as she pretty obviously drew back to hit him. He could have knocked her out on her ass at any point he wanted to, but instead he just stood there, unblinking as she drew back and then slapped him across the face as hard as she probably could. Jack just blinked at her as she started to head back towards the tree, melding into it.
She would see though, as he slowly raised one of his hands in a fist towards her, and then slowly extended his middle finger towards her as she disappeared from his site, shaking his head as he spoke, in case she was still around. "What, no goodbye kiss? Don't hate me because you have to change your panties now!!" Jack called out to the wilderness, glaring at some people who walked by looking at him if he was crazy. What the fuck did they know anyway? Goddamned fucking yuppie X taking frathouse fodder...
Pausing as he made sure that no one was around, he walked until he was sure he wasn't being followed, with no trees around to hide a goddamned eavesdropping dryad. Then, and only then did he take a slow breath, and look towards the sky, wincing a little. "Sorry Jenny." He whispered softly to no one in particular, and then started to walk back towards his rooms.
