She could quickly see she was upsetting him as he acted like her father when her mother had upset him for any reason. Being a Siren she knew the look of ruffled feathers, since sirens actually had feathers to ruffle. She took in a deep breath and suppressed her laughter, she hadn't meant to hurt his feelings. She figured he was making a joke, a very good joke at that. He seemed to think she was laughing at him and not with him.
Just as she was about to open her mouth to apologize to him for her laughter he started to talk again. She thought words over, she was unsure if that is how it would work. Wouldn't it be much more likely that if he had been hit in the crotch that it would bring him more pain if she gave him a hard-on? She guessed most men would take that pain in exchange for the hand job though, at least that was her experience with men. They seemed to care much more for the idea of getting laid, and would put themselves threw whatever pains they had to to achieve their goal. On the other hand she really didn't know that much of the way the body worked, he could be right. "Oh? Should I check if everything is working okay?" She asked with a flirty glint in her eyes as she took a step towards him.
She smiled and was about to speak again when he started up once more. She used all the will power she had not to start laughing all over again, she felt sorry for him. She had not meant to unsettle him so much that he now seemed to be tripping over his words. She couldn't even pretend to take this one seriously, but she promised herself she wouldn't laugh at him any more. "Are nurses really that dumb?" She asked somewhat seriously. She briefly wondered if the line would then work for her with nurses, the thought made her smile again.
She blinked and bit her lip as she really worked on not laughing as he started to speak of pirate booty, and Darkwing Duck. Was her really being serious? She was still pretty sure he wasn't making jokes, but what he was saying couldn't be serious could it? "You don't seem so dangerous to me." She said checking him out once again now that she had calmed down a bit.
She smiled at him and tired to get him to see she wasn't making fun of him. "I am sorry for upsetting you, I didn't mean to. I thought you were making a joke, and you said it with such a straight face that I am actually still very impressed that you pulled it off. Why would you scare dryads? From what I hear their pretty hot, I haven't met one yet, but all the books say they are fuckable. Well maybe not in that many words, but I like the word fuckable much better then the very attractive or whatever terms books use. Or are you some kind of humanist or something, because I have to tell you if you are I'm not human." She said with a firm nod. She looked into his eyes waiting to see if he was upset by the idea of her not being human.
