Kaydence had spent the last week learning the campus, or at least her way to the places she would have to get to on a regular bases. She knew where the cafeteria, swimming pools, dorms, and a park she had decided she liked for jogging was. She had learned how to get to each with only slightly getting lost. She had yet to discover the classrooms, but she was sure when she needed that information she could ask Marie at the very least.
Last night she had stayed up late unpacking the last of her things from the many boxes she had sent ahead of her. Putting it off all week she had finally gotten sick of living out of a suit case and determined to do it before bed. This had been somewhat of a bad idea, since she did not get to sleep until the very early morning.
When she awoke with a groan she looked up at her clock and sighed. It was already eleven. She sighed as she got up to start herself some coffee. She would just have a late start to the day, her morning jog would after to be a noon jog instead. Which meant everything in her day was pushed back and maybe she would not go to the beach tonight like she had planned.
She pouted at herself as she drank her coffee and got dressed in her jogging shorts and tank top. She would eat lunch after the jog, as she never liked to exercise on a full stomach, it always made her sick. Kay tied her hair up in a high pony tail and out a smile on her face. It wouldn't be so bad really, and the beach would be there tomorrow.
Kay made her way to the park, walking and enjoying the beautiful day. Once she had gotten to the beginning of the trail she enjoyed running best she started to warm and stretch her muscles. Taking her time in getting nice and limber for the run, she didn't want to hurt herself.
Suddenly she heard someone yelling up the path a small ways. She couldn't tell what they were saying but it sounded as if someone was hurt. She went running towards the sound as she heard something slam into the ground then explode.
Worried sick she went to find what had crashed and saw the man stepping away from the wreckage of what looked like a small plane. She moved to him as quickly as she could. She hoped he wasn't hurt. "Sir.. sir? Are you hurt, did it hit you?" She asked as she moved in front of him and tried to see if he was bleeding or scrapped anywhere.
