"That still sounds more interesting then having the same private tutor for like your whole life." She pointed out tucking some hair behind her ear as she spoke. "Oh, my family runs a small resort island you have probably never heard of. She is called Sirenum, I've never left her shores, but I have always wanted to." She said looking to the ceiling as she thought of her home.
"That sound awful." She said looking at Marie with wide eyes. "No wondering you are so jumpy, I don't know if I could live like that. Having to worry about every human that tries to get close to me. Sirens really don't have a lot to fear from humans, they tend to be much more scared of us." She said with a sheepish smile.
She looked around at each station as her friend pointed them out. She realized then how hungry she actually was. Has she eaten breakfast that morning? It was so early she hadn't bothered. She may have eaten on the plane, but she doubted that as well. When he stomach made a rumbling noise it was confirmed.
When Marie went to get her lunch she walked around, getting a cheeseburger, French fires, an apple, and a soda before she met the other girl at the checkout line. "No.. I think they sent it to me in my welcome package." She said as she set down the trey and pulled out her wallet. She held out the small card. "Is this it?" She asked looking a little worried.
