She loved to surround herself with beauty and objects of allure. Those eyes were intoxicating. They made her wish she could pull them around her body like a heavy blanket and curl into them. But there was something more attractive about those eyes, more than just the lovely hue. There was an intensity in those eyes that she may not have noticed had she not been staring. There was something fascinating about them, and Raina had a feeling there were mountains of stories hidden behind them.
When he removed his shirt however, she was instantly distracted. Her emerald eyes lowered and long lashes batted a few times as she took in the lean and muscular line of his now bare chest. Her breath caught in her throat as she followed the line of his body like a bead of water rolling down from his neck, along his pectoral muscles, then into the crevice of his defined stomach and towards his pants. She swallowed hard and was almost sure that everyone in a two mile radius must have heard her pulse racing. Her cheeks turned a light pink and she had to physically force herself to look away. Once he sat, she chuckled, "Since we're both practically naked, I hope it's not out of line for me to tell you that you'd probably do a better job getting the water out of your jeans if you took them off as well." Raina looked up at him, smiled when she met his eyes and shrugged, "I'm just trying to help." And possibly see just a little bit more, but that part wasn't added.
She turned her head and looked out towards the water, feeling a slight tingle in her tail. She'd have to get in water if she wanted to keep it instead of reverting to her legs. But for now, she didn't move. Instead she sat comfortably against the rock, nodding her head at his question. "Yeah, kind of. I go to school around here.. at Alden U. Do you know it?" She also realized then that there was probably a good chance he wasn't the type of person to start throwing rocks at her for mentioning Alden. It's reputation was pretty well known for the type of creatures it catered to. Then again, he'd already seen her with a tail. If he had a thing against creatures like her, he would have done something by now.
"So Desmond, do you usually hang around the pond at night and watch half naked girls on rocks, or did I just get lucky?" Her gut told her she didn't need to be afraid of him. He seemed quite nice so far, and he'd been nothing if not a gentleman.
