“Hi.” She said with a smile before her eyes began to scan the menu on the wall behind the woman. This was where she faltered. Jia hadn’t had a specific craving, and now she felt a little overwhelmed because there were so many different choices. It seemed as if everything and nothing were jumping at her. She should have planned this part before she had planned the route or maybe while she’d been traveling to and from her dorm. The dryad supposed she had expected something to jump off the menu and dance right in front of her shouting, “Eat me!”
She scanned the list one more time before her earthy green eyes moved toward the fairer skinned woman’s striking blue ones. “I’m craving ice-cream, but I can’t decide what to get. Do you have any suggestions?” People who worked in food facilities usually had a good idea of what tasted good. Of course, there was always the problem with everyone having different tastes, but Jia was totally up for trying something new.
