"Thank you," Anton said sincerely. Spaghetti, he could deal with, and it was a starting point.
He picked up his suitcase. "Later, then." He would unpack and get settled, and by that time, hopefully he would have sorted out in his head what he was going to do next. He went into his room and closed the door quietly. He could hear Davan moving around in the room beside him, just little noises that let him know someone else was there, and he wasn't disturbed by it. Davan was unobtrusive, and out of his immediate presence, Anton no longer felt the strange pull to be close to him. That puzzled him because it was something that he had never felt towards anyone else. If anything, he felt the exact opposite in most cases.
"The goddess of love..." he murmured to himself speculatively, and he shook his head. Already, he beginning to wonder what he'd gotten himself into in coming to Alden.
