It had taken some time to walk off the full feeling, but he had done it, and, realizing that he'd gathered a sufficient amount of sticks for the fire he set them down and rested up against a tree, tugging his knees up to his chest to feel the warmth of his body radiating against him. Above him, the canopy of trees had gotten thick without him noticing, and it made the summer air feel a bit warmer around him, which in the midst of the night was more of a blessing than a curse. Many a night they had allowed him to go shivering, and feeling cold was not a pleasant experience at all to him. He much preferred the feeling of warmth flowing through him, which was part of why he loved drinking blood so much.
As he looked up the trunk of the tree he was leaning against, suddenly there was a face there, sticking out above him. With a yelp he scrambled back, knocking over the pile of sticks as he pressed his back up against another tree, looking at the creature that was emerging from the wood and staring at him with bright eyes. It was in the shape of a woman, but it was far more beautiful than any woman that he had ever seen in the towns. There was no dirt upon it's features, and even though there were leaves and moss in it's hair it seemed to almost make it more radiant in the moonlight that filtered in from the trees. But what was the most alarming was that it was not wearing a stitch of clothing.
"Oh ho... it looks like you scared him." Came a voice from above him, and he looked up to see another naked female, just as beautiful as the first hanging idly from the branches of the tree he was up against.
"Good, maybe this one will go back and tell the others not to come into our woods, hmmm?" Said the first with a raised brow.
With another yelp the boy started to run to the side glancing behind him only to run into something amazingly soft, and warm. He felt arms wrap around him that felt hot, and comforting as another voice purred lightly into his ear. "Hello there little one. You don't need to be afraid of me... I won't let the others hurt you, though that wasn't really ever their intent." A light giggle filled his ears as he looked up into the most amazing chocolate eyes he had ever seen till that point, which caused his jaw to drop far more than the stars did.
Once he had accidentally wandered into a place where women were dressing, and had gotten things thrown at him and whipped hard enough to be reminded never to do it again, but these women seemed not to care. Even so, he felt his cheeks flush a little as he was at nearly head height with her bare chest. But he did not try to fight her as she caressed his black hair, smiling a little.
"It's been so long since we've had a guest in these woods, sisters. And he does not mean us any harm. He's simply collecting dead sticks from the ground. Look, he hasn't even tried to break a single branch off of the trees..." the third said with a light little smile as she looked down at the boy, brushing his black strands of hair from across his face. "You don't mean us any harm now, do you, boy?" she said with a smile.
The boy shook his head a little.
"What's your name, little one?" the first asked, peering at him.
"Quingenti..." the boy answered.
All three laughed at him. "Quingenti is a number, Silly boy, not a name. Do you not have a name?" the second asked.
